Jane moved back to Yorkshire to live in Malton when her husband came to work here as a Ryedale Youth Work Manager in 1990.  Their two children grew up here, attended local schools and are now working and studying locally.

Based at Malton Secondary School, Jane is a teacher with responsibility for Careers, Work Related Learning and Vocational Education.  Recently she also gained a post with the Quality Assurance Team for the Local Authority.

A Yorkshire girl, Jane grew up in a small village near Knaresborough. Her interests include growing her own fruit and vegetables and supporting local beekeeping with her family.
